Fresh Fruits in your Office

Ambrosia Fruit BoxIn Europe, the European Commission Directorate General for Health & Consumer Affairs set up in 2005 a Platform for Action on Diet, Physical Activity and Health to develop strategies to improve healthy living and eating amongst Europeans, by voluntary commitments from its members.

I am not saying that we have to do the same in Singapore. But having Fresh Fruits as  Snacks in the office  helps us stay healthy by having good alternatives to Potato Chips, Chocolates,  Keropok, Curry Puff & probably other unhealthy fried stuff as snacks.

Many office workers are leading sedentary lifestyles, after a hard day at work, its the long commute home, probably ending up doing some household chores, guiding and checking children’s homework, and vegetating in front of the television and then to bed.

We need to increase the amount of fruits and vegetables in our diet now!
